Did you think we had disappeared..?

we haven't, but we have been overtaken with things that leave no time for blogging and such...
I've decided that to catch up would take far too long so a quick overview will have to suffice...
We all had a great Christmas break which of course went way to quickly, classes started again early in the new year and are going strong with lots of new stuff happening every week.

From Thru the red door....
The Flowerbed quilt (by Sue Spargo) Block of the Month is going really well..

From Thru the red door....
the girls in the class are racing ahead and doing some fabulous work..

From Thru the red door....
Some clever little cookies above from our last kids class with the talented Jodie Carlton from Ric Rac....

From Thru the red door....
Arthur & Elsie were very impressed....

Sue and I spent a couple of days in Sydney learning how to drive the new Bernina quilt frame (hopefully photos to come) so we just have to finish putting the frame together and put our new found knowledge to practice..!

Last Friday we had the Biggest Morning Tea next door at the Mill Cottage....

we were a little spoiled at lunch..   :o)

So that's just about it in a nutshell, lots of new fabric, wool and books on the shelves, lots of new classes coming up in the second half of the year....

I'll leave you with a photograph I took on Sunday of these lovely bloggers, you can read about their blog meets here...

I'll try to get back into a routine of posting on here but you can find us on Facebook too.....

Merry Christmas....

We're about to officially 'log off' here behind the red door, we closed at 3pm today and we'll be back on board Tuesday Jan 8th with lots of new ideas, classes, fabric and some amazing colours in new quilts ...

like this..... and this...

you'll be able to make both of these in class in the new year, more info to come when we have the class list up and running in January...

I'm hoping to make it somewhere like this for at least a day or two in the holidays..

...but in the meanwhile we would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a safe, happy and very creative 2013 (and I promise to try to be a better blogger next year ;o)
